A New Eumundi Brewery Is Set To Revive Much-Missed Local Beer Brand

Talk about a great way to start the week!

We’ve just received word that the much-missed local beer brand, Eumundi, is set to be given a second run at life thanks to a new brewery being built at The Imperial Hotel. Can we get “heck yeah”?

If we weren’t already impressed by the overhaul that Eumundi’s iconic pub has undergone in the past two years, this has tipped us over the appreciation edge.

Brewed onsite, where it all began back in 1988, the lager will be pouring from the taps at The Imperial Hotel in the new year, with soft plans to distribute the beer further afield. And yep, brewery tours will totally be a thing!

For folk like us, who haven’t been lucky enough (or old enough?) to get familiar with a Eumundi lager, we’re more than a bit excited to see what all the fuss is about, come its revival.

Keep your eyes on Metropolist, guys, ‘cause we’ll be spilling all of the deets as soon as the first brews are ready to fill your schooners.
