Italian is one of those special cuisines that everyone just seems to universally have a soft spot for, especially as winter rapidly approaches. A warm bowl of linguini does wonders to keep the chill at bay as our nights seemingly get colder, and colder.
However, some Italian dishes can be meat (and cheese) heavy, so when we found out an all-inclusive and all-vegan cooking class was happening on the Sunshine Coast, we were thrilled to say the least.
That’s right vegan lovers, the folks over at Italia Pizza and Pasta have announced they’ll be hosting an all-vegan cooking class lead by their head chef (who is also a qualified nutritionist) later this month. Woot!
And what’s on the menu, you might ask? At this stage we’re hearing options like bruschetta, arancini, lasagne, fettucine, spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi and even “meatballs” are expected. Maybe you’ve got a sweet tooth? Well, fear not, we’ve been assured faves such as Tiramisu and Panna Cotta will also be featured, folks.
The team behind this genius concept have also mentioned they are open to any special requests that their class members may have. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to make the perfect vegan garlic bread but never known how. This is your chance, guys! Sounds like a perfecto idea to us. But let us warn you, this is promising to be an immersive experience so, prepare to get your hands dirty! You’ll also be provided with recipes to all the meals you make so you can be a vegan masterchef in your own kitchen too.
But the very best news we’ve saved for last. After you’ve cooked all this delicious food, you get to sit down in the restaurant and FEAST! Bella, bella!
