New In Maroochydore | Coast Store

If you’re already hyperventilating at the thought of Christmas being less than 60 days away, you can stop right there.

Because as of yesterday, there’s a brand new, super gorgeous homewares store right in the heart of Maroochydore. And we’re pretty sure you’re gonna love it!

Throwing open its doors to a waiting crowd—no seriously, there were people waiting on day one—Coast Store is already doing a mighty fine job of filling a gap. Obvs.

Sitting across the road from Maroochy River on the corner of First Avenue and The Esplanade, you’ll probably know the building just by taking a quick squiz at our pics. It’s a little beach shack, coated in white paint—the kind that’s conjured up when you think of a relaxed life by the sea—and is a rarity among the units and commercial buildings along this strip.

But, what you might not know is, over the past few weeks the place has been lightly renovated inside and stocked with some seriously desirable lifestyle goods. From homewares, furniture, fashion, jewellery, books, gifts, and even a small providore, if you don’t know what to buy aunty Jan, or mum, or your bestie, we’d pretty much put money down on the fact that you’ll find something here.

Keeping much of the building’s old-world charm has meant there are several rooms inside Coast, each turned into a space with a dedicated theme. Our fave? The bedroom-style room, complete with a four-poster bed, and decked out with the stunning pyjamas, throws, cushions, as well as beach bags hung on the door handle, much like you’d see at home. Yep, we got serious #homeenvy.

The style of Coast’s curated collection of goods is hard to put in a box—there are coastal finds, hints of tribal, and more classic pieces, but one thing that marries them all together has gotta be their timelessness. Bringing a bunch of new-to-the-Coast brands together under one roof, we’re already coveting wayyy too much for our bank balance.

Trading seven days a week, if you’ve got shopping on your mind, make this newbie your first port of call—after a coffee at one of the best cafes in Maroochydore, of course.
