Guys, this is huge! Like HUGE, huge, if you get what we mean?
We’re just going to get straight to the point, and then we can backtrack, okay? So, after months of fitting out a massive unused space in Noosa Junction, one of the Coast’s fave watering holes Village Bicycle is finally throwing open the doors to its brand spanking new bar slash restaurant from 4pm, TODAY! Eeep!
If you’re a diehard Village fan, you probs know this has been a long time coming. Hell, you may have even been at the soft surprise opening on Wednesday night—where the guys turned a closing down party at the old Village Bicycle into the ultimate celebration by taking errybody for a short walk down the road to christen the new digs. But the good, no, the great news is that as of today, Village Bicycle is now open to the public for realz, and just before Xmas when you want to party like a mofo. Could life get any better right now?
For owners Luke and Trevor, it’s been all hands on deck creating the fit-out since they nabbed the keys to the new premises close to four months ago. Divided into three amazing spaces, there’s an open outdoor area overlooking the main Noosa Junction drag, an intimate indoor space (complete with a giant booth) much like the Village Bicycle we all know and love, and… what we consider the crème de la crème of the new VB… an astroturfed beer garden—complete with festoon lighting and mammoth murals—out back. Are you guys excited yet? ‘Cos we are!
We’re keeping tabs on the boys, so as soon as things quieten down, we’ll take you on the full royal tour! But ‘til then, go check it out for yourself in the flesh. And party on!
When: Doors at the new Village Bicycle open from 4pm today!
