If 2017 was the year of pug-lovin’, then 2018 has got to be the year of the Schnauzer, with peeps seemingly going nuts for the breed lately. And frankly, why wouldn’t you? They are legit adorbs.
So, it was only a matter of time before all these puppy lovers got together to host a dedicated Schnauzer Soiree on the Sunny Coast. (Say that 10 times fast.)
Think: quivering enthusiasm, a feisty, but fun-loving ‘tude, and our fave feature, the Walrus moustache, and you end up with a little Schnau (as their owners like to affectionately call them).
This weekend, a group of loved-up Schnau owners are getting together to share a picnic lunch, a beach walk with their fur babies and possibly a beach swim. It’s a bit of a playtime sesh for the puppers and a chance for the proud parentals to showcase their baby to fellow Schnau lovers.
And the best part is, you don’t even need your own puppers to join in the fun! Maybe you’re thinking of getting one, but you’re still undecided? Come along to the Schnauzer Soiree and try one on for size. Maybe you’ll leave the partay infused with a high-dose of puppy-love.
What: Schnauzer Soiree
When: Sunday 20 May; 1pm till 4pm
Where: Ballinger Beach car park, Buderim Street, Currimundi
