Frightside Horrorfest At The Brightside

Back for another year, The Brightside’s annual Halloween party is set to be spookier than ever. This iconic Brisbane club will be serving up creepy cocktails, face painting, photo booths, and incredible entertainment into the early hours to send chills down your spine.

Halloween Party At Riverbar & Kitchen

Riverbar is creepin it real with their Halloween Party this year, and you’re invited. Serving up devilish drinks and blackened chicken wings, the night will play out to live tunes and plenty of good food. There will be prizes for best dressed as well as free entry. Only question that remains is will you be tricked or treated? Eeep!

Birdees House Of Horrors

Birdees are stepping it up a notch with their House of Horrors Halloween Party for 2017. Providing the best DJs in the Valley as always, they will be spinning tunes while setting up a night of hazardous entertainment. There will be a pumpkin carving contest, SPFX makeup station, Red Bull pop up bar, and prizes for best costume. All this plus free entry before 10pm.

Halloween Ball At Fluffy

Fluffy is set to host the return of their legendary annual Halloween Ball. The details thus far are still quite hush hush, but if last year is anything to go by they should have a stellar headlining act to make for another kooky and creepy evening. Stay tuned for more details.

Nightmare On Brunswick St At Netherworld

Netherworld is teaming up with Crowbar to create a truly devilish night. Hosting a carnival of horror, Netherworld will be home to live SFX creations of grizzly ghouls and beasts, as well as a wound station for you to gore up on the night, and an impressive line up of horror pinball and arcade games. Prepare for a night of twisted games, fake blood, and jump scares.

Hardcore Halloween Party At Crowbar

Haunted houses are by far the best things about Halloween and there are an unfortunately low number of them in Brisbane. Luckily, Crowbar is here to scare us senseless at their Hardcore Halloween Party. Not only will they have an epic party with corpse face painting and a horror show by Chevron Showgirls, but in their location Church there will be the pinnacle of all Haunted Houses. Mental Cavity will be providing the tunes, so book your tickets now.

Day Of The Dead Halloween Party At Greaser

Take a trip to the underworld for Greasers Day of the Dead Halloween Party. There will be themed cocktails and a pro makeup artist for those who wish to SLAY this Halloween (ha, get it?). Hang around for live performances by Crescent City Players and The Beverly Chills, as well as an open kitchen until 2am.

BeetleJuice Halloween Party At Retro's

Taking it back to the eighties, Retro’s is throwing an epic BeetleJuice themed Halloween party—and we are all about that life. Here is your chance to bring back those black and white stripes (a la Robin Thicke) at this Halloween party with a twist. There will be best dressed prizes on the night, as well as themed cocktails and, of course, plenty of retro Halloween themed hits to hit the dancefloor to.

Bringing it back for Stranger Things season 2 (YES) is fave Brissy bar Barbara’s Stranger Things Party. Paying homage to the dearly missed Barb—RIP babe—Barbara is upping the ante this year to live up to last year’s shin-dig. Come dressed as your fave Stranger Things character (so, everyone’s coming as Barb, right?) and get amped for the season 2 release among fellow Barb lovers!

Manly Harbour Village's Halloween Street Party

This list would not be complete without a shout out to the great Manly Harbour Village Halloween Street Party. A totally family-friendly affair, the iconic street party is a staple on the Brisbane Halloween scene. There will be pumpkin carving, live and roaming performances, carnival rides, stalls (because of course face painting!), the famous parades, and fireworks to cap it all off.

Haunted Hotel Party At Limes 

Wrapping up with a Brisbane Halloween party to end all parties, Limes Hotel is hosting their famed Haunted Hotel for the eighth year in a row. Providing free spooky face painting, you can be sure you’ll roam the party looking Halloween AF. There will be cocktail cauldrons and venomous shots served by undead bartenders, and prizes up for grabs for best dressed on the night. To keep you on your toes, Limes claims to have some devilish tricks up their sleeves to be unveiled on the night!
