News like this kids does not come often, so we’re just going to come out with it: e’cco bistro, one of Brisbane’s most iconic restaurants is moving! And (wait for it…) it’s heading to Newstead!
Having been a staple on the CBD’s ever-growing dining scene for the past 22 years, Philip Johnson’s e’cco will bid adieu to its landmark location, swapping the city for something very avant-garde (typical of them, being progressive and all): the luxury Haven development on Skyring Terrace.
It’s another notch on the belt for the burgeoning foodie suburb, with big players Salt Meat Cheese, Betty’s Burgers and existing dining haunts like Moubement Group’s Hatch & Co taking up residency here.
e’cco’s new space is set to comprise of extras that made it impossible to resist moving locations: an alfresco dining area, private dining rooms and renewed creativity to the menu.
e’cco will continue trade in the CBD location until Christmas 2017, with the new location set to open early Jan/Feb 2018.
We have three words for you: WATCH. THIS. SPACE.
