It’s officially summer and life is better already. Longer days, big waves and salty hair are what we’re all about but there’s nothing we like more than kicking back with an ice-cold Summer Bright Lager after hard day of swimming in the sea.

There’s a whole heap of things happening all over the city and it can be hard to know what to do first so we’ve teamed up with Summer Bright Lager to celebrate the first day of summer and bring you this neat list of 20 things you neeeeeed to add to your summer bucket list, ASAP.

You have three months. Go.

  5. Catch a movie at the outdoor cinemas.
  6. Round up your squad and go barefoot bowling at The Boo.
  7. Have a Sunday sesh every single Sunday.

  9. Stay out of the sun and learn a different language.
  10. Try stand up paddle boarding at Kangaroo Point.
  11. Cook up a BBQ storm at New Farm Park.
  12. Let loose at a music festival. Falls Festival is calling.
  13. Learn to surf at the GC.
  14. Do a rooftop bar crawl in the Valley and CBD.
  15. Befriend someone with a pool.
  16. Take on a long AF coastal walk, like the Cooloola Wilderness Trail (it’s seriously long).
  17. Go on a road trip up the Sunshine Coast with your best mate.
  18. Have a super long, long lunch at Popolo.
