Melbourne is certainly no stranger to a good old-fashioned degustation. You sit down, expect to be eating at least five dishes, and follow all of it with a copious amount of wine.
But never before has Melbourne seen a degustation in a food truck park, but this Labor Day long weekend that’s all about to change.
You can choose between a lunch option held on Sunday 10 March, or a fancy dinner on Thursday 14 March. Each event will feature six dishes covering a global taste of flavours which will set you back $65, of $95 if you want to match drinks.
The line-up of food trucks includes:
- Brunswick Mess Hall
- Pizza Pony
- Mr Burger
- Sweet Forbidden Journey
- And a surprise special guest truck
It all takes place at the Welcome To Thornbury courtyard on long communal tables. And because it’s fancy, there will be table service and elegant table settings.
Tickets are on sale now. Grab them here.
