TEDxMelbourne returns this year to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition centre this Wednesday to expand your mind tank.
This year’s theme is ‘Adventurous Minds’ and is all about those challenging ideas that are sure to pop a light bulb above your head and hopefully inspire you to start that project you’ve been avoiding while binge watching Netflix series.
This time around not only do you have the opportunity to feed your mind but fill your stomach as well; TEDxMelbourne 2016 will see four of the country’s most renowned chefs come together for a totally unique Melbourne street-food experience.
Guy Grossi (Grossi Florentino, Ombra Salumi Bar) has brought together a culinary dream team, including Andrew McConnell (Cumulus, Cutler & Co, Supernormal), Scott Pickett (Estelle Bistro, Estelle by Scott Pickett, Saint Crispin) and Peter Haycroft (Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre) for one extremely Melbourne style street-food grazing extravaganza, all assembled from locally sourced ingredients.
Speakers at this year’s event include award-winning space craft designer and scramjet engineer Professor Michael Smart, architect and academic Dr Augustin Chevez and The Bucket List Guy,Travis Bell among others.
