Time flies when you're watching  Bachelor In Paradise four days straight, doesn't it? Each passing day Jared gets more red, and you get more emotionally invested. It's hard to keep up to date on what's happening in Melbourne when you've got such stimulating TV keeping you occupied. We totally get it.

But, not to fear– we're here catch you up on what happened in Melbourne this week. Buckle up.

  • Channel your inner Harajuku girl at Ichi Ni Nana for their ‘One Night in Harajuku’ event. Dig into a 5-course banquet while sipping on a heavenly complimentary Harajuku cocktail. Kick on upstairs at Upside Rooftop bar with their quirky new cocktail list.

  • Our favourite cheesesteak pros, Sparrows Philly Cheesesteaks, just unleashed a killer new menu. Say hello to the  Bacon Double Cheesesteak Burger: a half-pound burger, smashed medium rare with bacon, onions, and SIX slices of American cheese. Pickles are optional (get the bloody pickles). Check it out at Sparrows pronto. 

  • Celebrate Henry Sugar’s launch of a new breakfast toasties menu with a free Small Batch coffee.

  • Henry Sugar and Melbourne Moonshine distillery have also joined forces to produce an epic five course dinner, paired with five boozy cocktails to get you properly sozzled. 

  • Prepare your best joke and head on over to any Mr Burger store. If you manage to make the staff laugh, you can land yourself a free serving of mouth-wateringly crispy chips. The deal runs till 22 April. 

  • ATTENTION CAFFEINE ADDICTS: Laneway Greens have teamed up with Industry Beans coffee roasters, serving unlimited coffee every day from 8am–10am. May the heart palpitations begin.

  • Station 59 have launched a new, wildly tasty, rotisserie chicken dish. Heads up–you need to pre-book your chick in advance.  Don't forget to swing by El Tumi for a cheeky post-chicken pisco. 

  • California Burgers just dropped a new stack, the Jai-Gantic Burger. Two hand-smashed turkey patties, double cheese, Dijon mustard, tomato, grilled onion and ketchup, all wrapped in two lettuce leaves. That actually sounds pretty fkn healthy. 

  • Superchef Emma Jeffrey (Hammer and Tong, Mammoth Café, Moat) has just joined the crew at Mr & Mrs Anderson in Hawthorn East! Very delicious news. She's bringing some new dishes to the table, including a gourmet SPAM burger. We admit we're curious...

  • Ramblr just launched a fresh new lunch menu, featuring a warming Shiitake and Kombu Ramen perfect for a classic Melbourne sub-zero winter hellscape. In fact there's 6 new ramens on the cards, plus appetisers like crispy chicken karaage and pickled cucumber with silken tofu. As if Ramblr could get any more delicious. Check it out Tuesday – Saturday. 

  • Say goodbye to lettuce, vegans. San Churro’s new Autumn menu features 24 vegan-friendly desserts and drinks. Heads up—their churro bowl filled with vegan salted caramel and honeycomb gelato, drizzled with dark-choccy, is heaven on a plate.

  • The Cliveden has teamed up with the crew from Bass & flinders to launch their very first boutique gin! Things getting fancy over there...

  • Our favourite marvellous Indian restaurant, Mukka is throwing a festival of colour to celebrate Holi.

  • RVCA Gallery in collab with some of Melbourne’s mighty-talented Illustrative artists have produced an epic ‘Eskybition’. Yep, that's an eski exhibition. 

  • It’s now easier for all you city slickers to get your hands on some quality gelato… Pidapido has launched a new gelataria, smack bang in the middle of the CBD.
