Thinking Of A Trip To Red Hill? Here Are Three Events You Shouldn’t Miss

By Ben Tyers - 22 Sep 2016

Red Hill is the perfect location for a glass of wine in winter, but now that we're into spring and with summer around the corner that definitely doesn't mean you should forget about visiting.

In fact with the sun shining once again you can substitute huddling around a wood fire for sitting under an umbrella in a sun-filled courtyard or deck. And as we get closer to the end of the year, the area is full of great events to help you make the most of your weekends.

Here are three upcoming events that are worth having a look at.

Awakening: Montalto Celebrates Spring Festival

Montalto will be hosting a line-up of conversations, music, cooking demonstrations and children's activities on Sunday, October 9. The team at Montalto have partnered with The Wheeler Centre and will be joined by Radio National's Michael Williams  as well as horticulturist and permaculture expert John Forest from Edible Forest Gardens.

Montalto's 15-year-old vegetable garden will be on show as their chefs harvest produce and transform it into delicious food for the crowd to have a go at.

Polperro Hosts Kevin Cherkas

Internationally acclaimed Cuca restaurant of Bali will present an Australian exclusive event "Swig & Nibble" at Polperro Bistro from October 7-9. 'Swig & Nibble' will present diners with nine uniquely crafted signature bites, paired with Polperro and Even Keel wines, sounds pretty damn good to us.

Tickets are on sale now, grab yours here.

MOTH (Music On The Hill) is a monthly event that presents a variety of local and international recording artists all hosted in a venue with a difference. Organised by Red Hill locals you'll be sure of a good time in this intimate, cosy venue.
