On the Sunshine Coast, we are seemingly blessed with the best of everything. We have the beautiful beaches, sweet weather, epic dining and spectacular hinterlands, and now it would seem the accommodation Gods are set to smile upon us, with the proposed addition of a seven-star luxe resort. (Note: Remember to breathe.)
Introducing Badderam Eco Luxe Resort & Spa.
This incredible eco-tourism resort is being hailed as a game-changer for our coastal region, as it will be Queensland’s first zero waste eco resort.
Picture this: Food foraging gardens, bee hives, free range chickens, outdoor fire pits, star gazing lounges and even a waterfall with rope bridge crossing. (We’re currently obsessed with the waterfall, peeps.)
The resort will boast 125 eco luxe accommodation suites in addition to three in-house restaurants, a library and wellness day spa equipped with 10 treatment rooms, gym, yoga studio, beauty studio and relaxation room.
The best part? The resort is aiming to be completely “off the grid” within five years of opening, by harnessing the power of both solar and water conservation. (Basically, it’s uber luxury, but with a conscience.)
Whoops, we got overly excited and neglected to mention the infinity pool and hot tub that’s designed to have a view of the ocean. Our dreams often feature pools that look this mint.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed and saying all our prayers that this one starts construction—stat!
If you love other new openings, have you checked out Circa Cooroy? You really should.
