Prepare for the champagne pairing of the year: Frenchies Brasserie is hosting a very special Champagne lunch on Saturday 5 December, in conjunction with Tourism Noosa and Louis Roederer.
The lunch will include a four-course menu designed by head chef Fabian Oliveau and an array of Louis Roederer champagnes, so if you’re a fan of bubbly, you’ll want to get busy booking.
“I have created a menu designed to match these amazing Champagnes that we will be showcasing, using the best seasonal produce,” says Fabian. “We are very excited to be part of this year’s Noosa Eat & Drink and to be holding this incredible lunch with such an iconic Champagne brand.”
The lunch will set you back $165 per person and includes Hervey Bay Scallop with cashew, chives, and hazelnut butter; grilled prawns with garlic and parsley butter, fennel and watercress salad; pan-seared ocean trout, spring vegetables, sauce barigoule; and a dessert course of poached peach, marinated lychee, strawberry and lime granita and broken meringue. Yum.
