A Melbourne Cafe Is Serving Burgers And Pizzas For Your Pooch

Imagine spending your life watching people eating pizzas, burgers and doughnuts, while you have to gobble down cold kidney chunks from a bowl. That’s the hell most dogs face on a daily basis.

The fact that they enjoy cold kidney chunks doesn’t make it any less of a tragedy.

Well one Melbourne cafe is stepping up to change things. In celebration of World Animal Day (today, FYI) Hawthorn’s Lights In The Attic is serving up a dedicated pooch menu.

There’s gonna be vanilla and chocolate doggy doughnuts (not actual chocolate). Mini pooch pizzas (made for pooches, not from pooches). Doggie muesli with banana and strawberry, canine burgers made from fresh mince, rice and carrots. And, of course, frothy Puppiechinos. Just the sort of pick-me-up a busy dog needs at 10am.

The new menu is gonna be a permanent addition, so there’s no need to stampede down there right away. Keep an eye out for Insta-famous dogs too—you know they’ll be all over this one.

The Details

Where: Lights In The Attic, 38 Camberwell Rd
