Oh god, we can feel the meat sweats from here.
Riverland Bar is jumping on Good Beer Week this year, and they’re chucking a fat-spitting, charcoal-burning, greasy-faced meat extravaganza. The name? All You Can Meat.
Yep, all the meat your body can eat. Could not, would not miss a beat. The day will kick off with some cured artisan small goods to warm up the stomach, and then it’s on to the real stuff: beef ribs, Lancashire and Cumberland sausages, juicy flank steaks, and a whole suckling pig cooked on a charcoal spit.
The day will set you back $35, which is about the price of a single steak. So if you’re talking value, grab a bib and head on down. The meat comes from the guys at Pacdon Park, so you know it’s the good stuff.
Vegetarians...what can we say? Apparently, there’ll be a range of “awesome, hearty salads”, but watching hundreds of people eat short ribs with sticky gusto might be a little confronting. Prep yourself.
The meat feast will run from 12pm till 4pm, with live music pumping all afternoon. Bring an appetite.

Work off that meat with a brisk game of netball. We tracked down the best leagues in Melbourne.
