Biannual is one of those ambiguous words. In this case it means twice a year the guys from Hank Marvin unleash the burger equivalent of a comet heading directly for Earth. Yep, the massive Burger Biannual is back again this weekend.
The Biannual usually draws over 6000 hungry punters, which isn’t surprising when you hear the names involved—a cavalcade of Melbourne’s best burger makers, armed to the teeth with hot sauce and mustard, slinging stacks that’ll make grown men weep.
Think American-style burgers from Gorilla Grill, Miso Fresh (and their epic bao burgers), spiced beef from Curry Up Now, smashed patties from St Burgs, cheesy goodness from Mr Burger and slow-smoked stacks from Limp Brisket. They’re all gonna be on show at Alma Park this weekend.
The Burger Biannual runs across Sunday 11 March and Monday 12 March. You can expect the usual Melbourne mix of live tunes, food trucks galore, a little B-Ball and even a play park for the kids.
If burgers aren’t your thing, swing by on Saturday for the regular Hank Marvin Market.
