When it comes to food festivals, Melbourne’s got it all—from garlic bread to chicken parma to espresso martinis, there’s no shortage of new, wonderful and creative ways to shove food or drinks in your gob.

So it comes as no surprise that Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery is launching its first-ever Brownie Festival. That’s right, the chocolate-y geniuses behind the annual Rocky Road Festival are out to make you overdose on chocolate yet again.

The Chocolaterie’s talented chocolate slingers have created 16 different types of brownies, plus Brownie Bombs, Brownie Pops and Brownie Bites for you to enjoy every single day of the festival. Head to the Pod Cafe to drool over the entire brownie range and then grab an indulgent tasting plate of Brownie Bites, Brownie Dessert Pizzas, Brownie Sundaes and Brownie-inspired ice cream flavours.

You can also dive into a bountiful selection of Brownie creations in their Ultimate Brownie Tasting Sessions with ten sensational Brownie Bites, while sipping cleansing cocoa teas and finish with a Brownie Bomb and Brownie Ice Cream.

And if you haven’t experienced death by chocolate just from reading this, the Chocolaterie’s traditional Best Brownie will also be available throughout the festival, as well as all year ‘round. Because you know what’s better than brownies? More brownies.

The Brownie Festival is on from Wednesday, 12 June until Sunday, 23 June. Bookings are essential for the tasting sessions, so make sure to book ahead.
