Everyone loves a Sunday BBQ, especially when Melbourne decides to roll the clouds back and start showering us with glorious sunshine once again.
In the meantime, there’s a new Sunday BBQ option that we’re all about—and it’s being put on by the legends at Kong.
Kicking off on Sunday November 5, Kong will be serving up a new sharing menu of cooked meats, lots of sides, and desserts. It all revolves around a rotating menu of protein each week, which will be dependent on the month or the season.
This week is all about pork and you expect the likes of Baby Back Pork Ribs with Kong Crazy Horse Chilli, or Soy and Sesame Glaze with sides of Wood Roasted Pumpkin with Edamame Salsa, Sweet Soy & Chilli, Japanese Cabbage Slaw with Yuzu Soy and Edamame, plus much more.
And if after all of that you’ve got room for dessert, well you better hoe into Kong’s well-known Banana Split of Caramelised Banana, Miso Honey Ice Cream, Peanuts and Sesame Praline.
The following Sunday (November 12) will hero lamb with a hero of BBQ Miso Lamb Shoulder with Charred Lemon, and November 19 will be all about chicken with a Roasted Chicken with Gochujang and Lemon Butter tantalising your taste buds.
The sharing set menu will set you back $40 per person and is available for both lunch and dinner.
