If you don’t spend summer in a sea of tanned skin and takeaway, have you really spent summer in Melbourne?!
Here to reward you for all your hard pre-summer #bod work is District Docklands—with a brand, spanking new food truck park that’s home of the pinnacle of street food.
A weekly rotating line-up of the greatest restaurants on four wheels is set to launch on Friday 17 November. The finer details are being kept very hush hush, after all who doesn’t love a good surprise (especially if it’s food), but everything from brioche burgers to decadent doughnuts are promised to make an appearance.
The Food Truck Park Summer Residency will open every Friday night through summer, and will also play home to DJs and daily giveaways. The space itself is a split indoor-outdoor dining and bar area, surrounded by street art from our finest local talent.
If you’re planning on a cheeky post-work tipple (and honestly, who isn’t?), make sure to also check out the new two-storey H&M. They’re celebrating their stunning launch with live entertainment, exclusive offers and giveaways from Friday 17 November to Sunday 19 November at District Canteen. The first 300 people through the doors each night will be treated to mouth-watering options like hand-made cakes from Ray Ray (Friday 17 Nov), Pana Chocolate (Sat 18 Nov) and Short Stop donuts (Sun 19 Nov). BRB, we have a H&M to stand outside.
The Melbourne-favourite Blender Art Market is kicking off every Friday night from 5pm-9pm, once you’ve eaten your fill and need to walk (jokes, shop) it off. Have your credit card at the ready.
It’s all on for a limited time only (the end of February to be exact, when we all depart to hibernate for another six months).
