Sneakerheads, listen the hell up.

For anyone that’s been counting, it’s been 35 years since Nike launched their iconic Air Force 1 (AF-1). And to celebrate the anniversary, they’re releasing something a little special: an exclusive AF range of hand-customised AF-1s, direct to the public.

We cannot stress this enough: these are not for general release. There’s only gonna be 70 pairs unleashed in all of Australia, with 24 of them exclusively here in Melbourne. And they’ll be flying off the digital shelves on a first-come-first-served basis.

You know those scrums outside David Jones on Boxing Day? That’s kids stuff compared to this.

Here’s how it’s gonna work: street artist Phibs will be customising 35 pairs of Triple White AF-1s and 35 pairs of Triple Black AF-1s. 23 black AF-1s and 23 white AF-1s will be going on sale at 11am on 3 December via Foot Locker’s website for $150 a pop. Hyperactive browser refreshing is recommended.

The remaining 24 pairs (12 of each colour) are exclusive to Melbourne and will go on sale via Foot Locker at Battleforce Sunday on 3 December, likewise at 11am. You can only grab these pairs in person.

All the proceeds raised will go to YMCA, funding grassroots basketball initiatives in Melbourne.

All the sweet kicker glory will go to you, when you snag a pair of the most exclusive sneakers in Australia.
