The Eastern Suburbs’ Best Foodie Festival Is Back Again This Year

Summer is officially over: which means less zero spend days at the beach and more events, bubble jackets and indoor heating expenses (there’s obviously no in-between).

We’ve found your haven if your bank account is approaching zero. Harveast combines Victoria’s best producers in the east, live entertainment and cooking workshops all for FREE. We repeat: zero, nada dollies (so there’s extra dosh for coffee on the weekend).

Running from 10am-8pm on Sunday 25 March at Ringwood Town Square, the space will be transformed with a free masterclass and cellar door tasting precinct, backyard beer garden and producers market. Big names appearing include Longsong’s David Moyle (Longrain), fine-diner ATLAS’ Charlie Carrington and Maha-owner Shane Delia (who will also run a live masterclass on Middle Eastern-inspired cooking with a post-cook Q&A).

Huxtaburger will be running a kiddie burger making class for a small fee (borrow your niece for the day), while 400 Gradi, Jimmy Grants and Sisko Chocolate will also run cooking classes throughout the day.

Melbourne-based band Woodlock will perform live, along with ARIA-nominated Mustered Courage and a killer line-up of local talent.

Book out your diaries now, this might be your last opportunity to tan for another six months.
