Giddy up Melbourners, we’ve found the only event worth knowing about this summer. Tickets are selling faster than Golden Gaytime burgers, (yes, they’re actually a thing and they sold out incredibly fast) so consider this your official hot tip.
As if your New Year calendar wasn’t already bursting, the Jeep Magic Millions Carnival is pretty much a mandatory Australian must-do, hosted on the GC (aka paradise) every January.
Join the fash pack and sports elite for the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo (think one big garden party), then dust off your cufflinks, pop on your frock and go trackside at the $10 million Jeep Magic Millions Raceday. Who wouldn’t want to spend a day in the sun (it doesn’t rain in QLD, duh), with a spritz in one hand and winning ticket in the other?
There’ll be plenty of happenings around the GC, from a VIP night at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre (so you can consider that fabulous Myer Fashions on the Field crown won), to a horse race on the iconic Surfers Paradise foreshore for the Magic Millions Barrier Draw. You can also eat your way through loads of impressive restaurants, bars, and everything else that makes the sunshine state so great. We’ll see you there.
