The Melbourne Cup Carnival is upon us, and if you’ve shelled out major coin for a nice new suit or dress, you’re going to need to step up your chariot game a little to match your outfit.

Well, the good news is that this year Uber are going all out and introducing two new ways great to get you out to Flemington.

UberBOAT will depart from a pontoon outside of the Melbourne Convention Centre and heads off at 10:15am sharp on race days. Cruise down the Maribyrnong for a cool $15 and feel like a massive hero. Uber recommends you arrive before 10am to give yourself the best shot at getting on board as spots are limited.

UberCHOPPER is the most over the top option of getting to and from the races this year, usually at home at Portsea Polo, this Melbourne Cup Carnival you get to the chopper with 5 of your mates. It’s booked on demand via the Uber app and will set you back $1,000—perfect if you’ve had a big win on race 7.

Of course, if both of these options are out of reach for you, you can catch a regular old Uber at 1 of the 3 DrinkWise Zones, where they’ll be offering free water and phone charging stations. They’re also handing out free thongs if your shoes are a little too hard to handle at the end of the day.
