Melbourne has delivered on the goods yet again (let’s be honest, when do we ever not?!). Every Sunday throughout January, Riverland Bar will celebrate summer with $12 Aperol Spritz all day. We’ll give you a moment to process that (and cancel any Sunday plans that don’t involve an Aperol Spritz).
Perched on the banks of the Yarra River, Riverland Bar will be getting into full Aperitivo-occasion spirits with live acoustic music throughout the month. Pay homage to Aperol’s origins (northern Italy, which is a fact your next date will no doubt appreciate) by enjoying delicious food under the sun with your favourite friends.
If you need someone to point you in the right, food-filled direction, you’ve come to the perfect place. Along with a pop-up food cart with aperitivo-sized small bites, highlights include Riverland Bar’s cheese board (make sure the Mossvale Blue is facing in your direction), seafood board, and mac ‘n cheese croquettes with baconnaise because, Melbourne.
Antipasto boards are another ideal Aperol-paired option, and at just over $20, you can probably dig up enough spare change at the bottom of your bag if you split it between friends.
In case you needed one more reason to go (hint: you didn’t), Riverland Bar will be giving around two general admission passes to every single day of the Australian Open festival, open to all Aperol Spritz lovers. See venue for full terms and conditions!
