Aperol Spritz Club Aperol

2016 is over (fiiiiinallllly) and we’re all about the whole New Year, new me thing. But we think it’s only fair to celebrate summer the way we best know how—with cocktails and tennis. Duh.

If you can’t quite make it to the Australian Open you can still salute the sun in style thanks to this list of where to get spritzed this summer.

South Bank

For the entire duration of the Australian Open, Club Aperol is taking over Riverland and it’s almost better than being at the game itself. Trust us. There’s $10 Aperol Spritz (our fave), as well as $7.50 Aperol pops, and DJs spinning beats every Thursday through Sunday. The best tennis matches will be on the big screen so you can relax on the deck chairs, or in the beanbags, before you head over to the charcoal spit roast when hunger strikes. Get all the deets here.

QT Rooftop Bar

Everyday from 3pm to 6pm, Aperol is popping up at the QT Rooftop Bar for Aperitivo hour. Sip on $15 spritz (and $35 jugs), take in the view and pretend the silly season isn’t over while listening to chilled tropical beats. Get all the deets here.

Barkly Hotel

St Kilda

Fridays just got a hell of a lot better at the beachside Barkley Hotel. Aperol is stealing the spotlight; serving their famous spritz on the balcony every week for the rest of the month while the kitchen dishes out tacos worth ruining your New Year’s resolution (goodbye healthy eating). With DJs spinning sultry beats well into the night, it’s an event not to be missed. Get all the deets here.

South Yarra

If nothing sounds better than a day in the garden followed by a refreshing ice cold Aperol Spritz then make your way to Botanical now. Everyday for the entire month of Janurary, Botanical will be offering your favourite spritz for only $10 a pop! See you there. Get all the deets here.

Royal Saxon

Your next Sunday afternoon is sorted thanks to Royal Saxon in Richmond. Think classic Italian southern soul food and a whole lot of Aperol fun every Sunday in January. There’s the classic spritz (for only $10!), the Sicilian Sunset (aka a spritz with a twist with a hint of vanilla, pink grapefruit and soda), as well as the Aperol Aspro (blood orange sour with Aperol, vodka, a touch of orange blossom and a hint of orange bitters). Get all the deets here.

St Kilda

If you love a good sunset (and romantic walks on the beach?), head to Pontoon ASAP! For the entire month of January, you can enjoy Aperol Spritz (carafes are only $30!) and complementary Aperitivo snacks as the sun goes down over St Kilda beach (well, kinda). Get all the deets here.
