It just got a whole lot easier to stay warm during the imminent winter months. The Queen Victoria Night Markets are back to make sure we can stay social throughout the gloomier months on Melbourne’s calendar. This unreal amalgamation of vendors, local and international will ensure that the Winter Night Markets becomes your weekly Wednesday ritual over the next couple of months
With over 30 vendors to lead you on an international culinary journey, from amazing Italian to delicious Indian they’ll always be something new to try each week. Plus you can’t forget about the desserts and where do we begin there's enough to send your tastebuds into overload. Of course, aside from the food, they’ll be plenty of arts and crafts stalls as well as live music most weeks all you need is a nice wood-lit fire and it’s the perfect winter night.
This year the Winter Night Markets will feature some Christmas in July themed nights to add to the wonderful winter experience. Over 5 magical weeks, the grounds will be transformed, transporting you to the North Pole with a snow making machine, Christmas decorations and much much more.
There’ll also be plenty of winter-inspired drink (alcoholic so don’t stress) including some piping hot apple cider from Cold Stream Brewery, and ReWine with their spicy mulled vino there’ll be something for every kind of drinker.
So chuck on a couple of layers, grab a bunch of your mates and head down to The Winter Night Markets for some mouth-watering food and drinks and combat that winter weather together.
