Monday got you feeling a little blue? There’s nothing quite like an upcoming food festival to turn that frown upside down! Yep, rolling on from their successes in Ponsonby, Grafton and Kingsland, the Urban Street Fest is now setting their sights on Orakei.

With a realistic view that good ‘ol Auckland weather is incredibly unreliable, they’re hitting Kings Plant Barn on April 27th—that’s right, it’s all indoors so it doesn’t matter what Mother Nature throws at us, we’ll be nice and dry. Apart from the run to and from the car, obvs.

From 5 until 9pm, a collection of the city’s much-loved street food vendors will be serving up some of the best food in town. Favourites include Double Dutch Fries, Guerrilla Grill, Judge Bao and RAWE, as well as many more of the vendors that you know and love, usually found roaming Auckland’s streets and events.

Naturally there will be live music for you to swoon over while you chow down on loaded fries, dumplings and pork buns and all of the other delicious treats on offer.

With awesome street food vendors all in one place, free admission and live music, the Urban Street Fest will have you rocking your way into the weekend.

And, while your there, make sure you pop into the epic new Orakei Village for something even more special.
