Beer Yoga Is A Thing & It's Happening On The Coast!

Yoga and beer, two words we never thought we’d pair together in the same sentence, and yet we reckon nothing sounds more fun.

Launching next weekend at Imperial Hotel in Eumundi, Yoga On Tap is the latest yoga trend to reach the Sunshine Coast and yep, you guessed it, it involves beer.

Making downward facing dogs 147 times more fun, you’ll enjoy a one-hour, all-levels Vinyasa flow yoga class before heading straight to the bar to chat with your stretchy-yoga buddies over a frothy cold one. Plus, each class will have an in-house beer expert on hand to help everyone be a bit more mindful about the whole beer-drinking process.

While it’s true we haven’t even tried it yet, we’re already early converts. C’mon, no juices or smoothies, or worse, kombucha, in sight—just yoga and beer. We lurve it!

The first class ever is happening on Sunday, March 5 at 11am and is only $20, which also includes a schooner to find your true Zen at the end. If it’s a success, which we’re sure it will be, classes will be continuing on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.

You know what they say, come for the yoga, Namaste for the beer. *insert winking emoji here*
