You know the kind of slump you get when you realise the week has only just begun and the weekend is, like, forever away?

Well, pretty much the only thing we’ve found to counteract those mid-week blues and put a bit of silver lining in our cloud of first world problems, is food. Obviously. But, more precisely, we’re talking about the ridiculously good dinner deals that are on offer at some of the Sunshine Coast’s best eateries.

To perk you up a little and help you make it to Friday knock-off drinks with a little less tears, we’ve rounded up some of the best mid-week dinner deals that will leave you, your wallet and your tum, extremely happy!

Brouhaha Brewery

Maleny

You love ‘em for their beers and who could blame you? Brouhaha Brewery is one of the best breweries on the Sunshine Coast, hell, Queensland. But, they also know their way around a kitchen. And, on hump day (Wednesdays), dish up a dinner deal for two that is too good to resist. Pizza and a bottle of wine for $50? Don’t mind if we do.

Canteen Kitchen & Bar

Coolum

Instead of your usual Monday meltdown, invest your energy into checking out Canteen’s weekly special menu and deciding what you’ll order between the likes of Thai beef salad, Peri Peri chicken and BBQ baby back pork ribs. Yep, for a neat $55 from Sunday to Thursday, you’ll score two main meals and a bottle of sauvignon blanc or cabernet sauvignon. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for this week’s mid-week menu.

Embassy XO

Sunshine Beach

In case we didn’t already love Embassy XO enough for dishing up one of the tastiest yum cha experiences we’ve ever come across, they’ve also got our bellies sorted on Wednesdays and Thursdays with their XO Night. A dinner deal that’ll satisfy even the most hard-to-please foodie, Embassy XO offers three delish courses with a glass of beer or wine for only $49. That’s less than 50 bucks, guys and let’s not forget you’re dining at one of the best restaurants in Noosa. Hop over to their website and sign up to receive their locals’ menu in your inbox weekly.

Three Bar & Grill

Dicky Beach

This list wouldn’t be complete without a bangin’ steak special, so let us introduce you to Monday nights at Three Bar & Grill. Keep $33 aside for a trip to this Dicky Beach gem and feast on a 300-gram steak (you choose between rib fillet, wagyu rump or porterhouse), two sides, a sauce and a drink to wash it all down. Northerners, it’s worth a drive across the bridge for. And Caloundra locals, you don’t know how lucky you are.

Dirty Moes

Mooloolaba

If you just can’t deal with another night of re-heated spag bowl, then shimmy on down to Dirty Moes on a Thursday evening for their epic Burger Nights. For $16, you’ll open yourself up to a world of drool-worthy possibilities and the choice between The Brisket, Classic Double Cheeseburger, Philly Cheese Steak Sanga, Token Vego Burger or the infamous Dorrito ‘Na-Cho Cheese’ Chicken Burger. All come served with fries and a friendly smile. Count us in!

Good Bar

Mooloolaba

Oh Monday, you’ve got some new fans thanks to Good Bar’s epic All You Can Eat Ribs, Wings & Slider Night (does this need to be caps?). Literally the dinner deal keeps on giving, round up your mates and make a beeline to this Mooloolaba restaurant, stat. For 30 buckaroos, we doubt you can beat this kinda value anywhere.

Wood Fire Grill

Noosa

If you love ribs and ribs love you, why not get messy at Wood Fire Grill on Thursday nights?! Their Ribs At The Grill night is all about that smoky deliciousness you’ve come to know and love from this Noosa restaurant, and when $35 lands you a half rack with two sides, you’d be a fool to resist.
