Make plans to ditch your usual bearded barista on Saturday 27 July, because a boutique coffee festival is taking over Noosa Junction with much more tantalising brews than your regular half-strength almond lattes.
Spreading across Noosa Drive, Sunshine Beach Road and Arcadia Street, the best of Noosa’s specialty coffee scene will be slinging espressos, filters and alt-brews that will have you giving up on sleep for the rest of the weekend, all for Java Fest.
Basically a single origin bean lover’s wet dream, the day will be filled with masterclasses, demonstrations, new products and of course, coffee drinking. You’ll find the likes of Padre Coffee, Flying West Roasters and First Batch Coffee Roasters sitting alongside the likes of Allpress Espresso and Segafredo.
And while it might start at 8am, you can make good use of all that extra caffeination by staying around until late, with evening celebrations making way for moreish espresso martinis at some of our favourite Noosa bars.
Head here for a wake-up call, then stick around for a nightcap; it’s all happening at Java Fest.
