Easter, that beautiful time of the year where consuming copious amounts of chocolate is applauded and long weekends are the norm.

If we didn’t already love Easter enough, some of our favourite cafes, bakeries and cake maestros have been busy creating limited-edition Easter masterpieces that’ll wow your taste buds and send this public holiday into legendary status.

But we’re warning you—these deliciously perfect dishes and drinks are “Easter specials”, which means they’ll only be available for a short time.

Whatever your week entails, you need to make these drool-worthy Easter eats a priority before they disappear for good.

Affogato Filled Doughnut With A Cadbury Creme Egg | Kenilworth Bakery

Kenilworth

The masters of incredible and unexpected morsels of deliciousness, Kenilworth Bakery has long been an obsession of ours here on the Sunshine Coast. As the creators of the 1kg doughnut, we expected big things this Easter, and these guys have not disappointed with the launch of their affogato inside a doughnut, complete with a Cadbury creme egg. A regular coffee will never cut it again.

White And Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake | Rick’s Artisan Pies & Sourdough

Noosaville

If Easter consists of gathering your nearest and dearest around to eat, drink and fall into a chocolate coma, then this white and dark chocolate mousse cake is the perfect addition to your long weekend. Made to order from Rick’s Artisan Pies & Sourdough, this heavenly sweet treat has an almond biscuit base and is big enough to share, which can only be a good thing if you’ve got visitors.

Cadbury Creme Egg Cronuts | Sunshine Sunshine Espresso

Currimundi

This is a public service announcement, because everybody should know about and have the chance to feast on a Cadbury Creme Egg Cronut, injected with Nutella and caramel, at least once in their life. And, after the super success of their Creme Egg cronuts last year, Sunshine Sunshine Espresso is at it again this Easter long weekend. These are very limited, so we suggest you give Sunshine Sunshine Espresso a call, to ensure you get your hands on this epic mound of sweetness while they last.

Hot Cross Bun Filled With Hot Cross Gelato | Fior Di Latte Gelateria

Mooloolaba

The team at Fior Di Latte Gelateria are bringing us the best of both worlds this Easter, with their special mash up. Featuring a freshly baked hot cross bun from the infamous Van Wegans bakery, sliced in half and loaded with the most deliciously, smooth housemade gelato—choose from chocolate, salted caramel or a specially-made hot cross bun flavour. There’s ice cream sandwiches, and then there’s this, and we’re giving it all of the heart eyes. Available from now until the end of the Easter long weekend.

Waffled Doughnut Easter Stack | The Nines

Maroochydore

Easter stacks don’t come better than The Nines offering of waffled doughnuts, topped with a Cadbury egg filled with housemade white chocolate sauce and another egg filled with vanilla ice cream. And if that wasn’t enough, the dish is then garnished with white chocolate, milk chocolate, coco pops, M&Ms and mini Easter eggs. This is over-the-top in all its glory.

Fully Loaded Easter Bunny | Decisions Cafe

Birtinya

Decisions are renowned for their half naughty and half nice menu, but this Easter we’re only about their superjunk. Especially when it consists of a chocolate milkshake-filled Cadbury Easter bunny, dripping with caramel and chocolate sauce and then topped with whipped cream and a chocolate wafer straw. Drooling yet? You should be.
