A Foodie’s Delight At The Rocks: ArgyleXchange Food Festival

Sydney loves a festival (even more so when there's good food involved!) and in March, ArgyleXchange returns to The Rocks, bringing together four venues, three acclaimed chefs and 23 events in one unique space.

The brainchild of Urban Purveyor Group, ArgyleXchange offers attendees a specially curated menu by the chefs of The Argyle, Saké Restaurant & Bar, Cut Bar & Grill and Ananas Bar & Brasserie.

So what makes the festival unique? Beyond the always-excellent food offered by these renowned establishments, ArgyleXchange has a number of entertaining events that will make every visit engaging. At The Argyle, dumplings will be king on Sundays with Endless Yum Cha, as the team puts a unique spin on the Chinese classic with flavours such as cheeseburger gyoza and chilli mud crab dumplings.

On March 9, Ananas Bar & Brasserie will transport you to Paris with a decadent champagne brunch replete with music and entertainment.

Saké Restaurant & Bar will be transformed with Tokyo-inspired street art on March 5 for a sensory visual experience. Head Chef Shaun Presland will leadß a cocktail and Izakaya masterclass, helping you learn the art of sushi making and cocktail shaking (and, of course, you can eat and drink your creations). March 19 will kick off regular Friday Harajuku Nights, with a pop-up bar and Harajuku girls delivering Izakaya dishes and drinks from a selection of 20 cocktails.

For red meat lovers, The Cut Bar & Grill will dedicate March 4 to delivering a night of unforgettable prime cuts, turning the venue into a New York-style steak house. Chef Grant Croft will take you from paddock to plate, breaking down the process of crafting the perfect steak, offering both insight and excellent food.

ArgyleXchange Festival runs from 17 to 31 March, 12-20 Argyle Street, The Rocks. Head here for bookings and full program.
