Aerial yoga, beer yoga, dog yoga… You thought you’d seen and heard it all, didn’t you?
Well, folks, what if we told you goat yoga was officially a thing and it has just hit Australia. We kid you not!
Already taking the States by storm, goat yoga works because, well, goats simply love people. They want to snuggle, nuzzle and be showered with affection while you stretch, bend and try your very best to concentrate. If you do a table yoga pose when a baby goat is nearby, well, they’re probably going to jump on your back, ‘cause that’s what billy goats like to do—get themselves into precarious positions.
So, where you can try goat yoga for yourself?
Mayfield Garden in Oberon, a two and a half-hour drive from Sydney is hosting a spring yoga retreat this September, with meditation, mindfulness and yoga with host Jan Green, plus a garden to plate menu, chill time in the private cool-climate garden, lodging in the guest house and, of course, a freakin’ goat yoga class! Tickets are seriously limited, so nab your spot fast if you wanna be the first to try this adorable class, before it no doubt takes over the country.
If you’re still not convinced, check out this ridiculously sweet video and tell us one thing that’s cuter than baby goats? That’s right, nothing!
