The Hollywood & Vine Pop Up Diner Is Opening Tomorrow

An old-school American diner with a bluesy feel—welcome to Hollywood & Vine. Named in homage to Tom Waits' 'Heartattack and Vine', the eatery will emulate the late-night diners of the South. You can expect complete authenticity; from the bright neon sign to the red and white check tablecloths and retro place settings.

To celebrate the launch, Hollywood & Vine are offering free burgers to the first 50 customers through the doors. With fillings like 16-hour pork belly, slow-cooked spiced lamb or crab cake, forget your lunch at home and head down early from 11am.

The menu provides a 'fuss-free' style of lunch—consisting of $10 burgers with the choice of sides (think fried chicken, cob o' corn, fries and slaw). The wine list features vintages like Cranswick, well-known producers from the Barossa Valley, a primitivo-based rose from Kangarilla Road, and an Extra Brut from Argentina. On to the brews, there's a Brooklyn lager or the Pabst 'blue ribbon' served in cans.

As for the sweets, look no further than the hot fudge sundae with cream and cherry—it'll be worth it!
