House Of Crabs Opens At The Norfolk

It has been months in the works. But House of Crabs is finally set to open at The Norfolk this Friday, and we're smacking our lips with glee.

The new seafood eatery is brought to you by the boys at Drink'n'Dine so you can expect nothing less than their usual quirky style—it's bibs on, eat with your hands kind of affair.

The menu creeps between Coney Island and Louisiana, but at House of Crabs it's all about the boil—seafood cooked with your choice of sauce and eaten straight from the bag. Patrons can choose between crab, prawn or clam with Cajun, Oriental, Mexican or Lemon Pepper sauce. To pair with your seafood, there's a stack of sides like Smoked Ocki Taco, Lobster Fries, Crab & Jalapeno Poppers and Creole Corn.

Don't fancy crabs? Try the blackened snapper or a plate of fried chicken; it's all finger-lickin' good!

As for the drinks, the list nods towards New Orleans classics, with Hurricanes, Peach Cobblers and Blackberry Mint Juleps, alongside a tight selection of very sinkable beers and extra-large frozen Margaritas—yes, please!
