The New Mountain Sounds Festival

By Ellie Schneider
2nd Feb 2014

Mountain Sounds Festival is the new kid on the boutique festival block. March 15, the Central Coast will host its golden child of events - highlighting art, culture, music and sustainability at the beautiful Mt Penang Gardens.

Central Coast electronic rock and rollers Sea Legs, Melbourne's World's End Press and five-piece Sydneysiders Tropical Zombie have just joined the bill. The line up already features a plethora of local and national talent, including: Ball Park Music; Midnight Juggernauts (DJ set); dreamy folk-pop group Jinja Safari; indie five-piece Snakadaktal; Yolanda Be Cool; and Queensland songstress Emma Louise.

The day will feature live artwork, cultural dancing and a number of sustainable initiatives, to ensure the people are entertained and the festival remains in the green.

Be sure to get your double, triple and quadruple denim outfits ready, this backyard shindig is set to go off!
