Poof Door at The Bottom End has transformed the gay clubbing scene in Melbourne, and on March 27, the extravaganza will be taking over Gay Bar. There'll be cocktails, glitter, and a stellar line-up including Gavin Campbell, Salvador Darling, Thomas St Thomas and Mitch Bain. Free entry.
This coming Saturday will see renowned British DJ and producer Joey Negro headline Harbour Party 2014 at Botanic Gardens Sydney. The Ivy Pool
Get to The Ivy Pool on February 24 for an epic Mardi Gras Monday. Reminiscent of Hollywood Palm Springs, this grandiose playground will feature delicious cocktails, private cabanas, poolside DJs and underwater speakers. Expect gorgeous lifeguards and plenty of speedos.
Halfway Crooks: Mardi Gras Edition
Halfway Crooks presents a Mardi Gras Rap Party on March 1. Located at Phoenix Bar, the party kicks off at 10pm (post-parade). Expect swamp rap and gangster bounce all night long, with Goodgod Small Club regulars Levins and Franco and Elston. There will be beads.
Swagger at Gay Bar
Head to Gay Bar for a very special edition of Swagger. Held on the eve of the Mardi Gras Parade, Swagger pays homage to the R'n'B queens and hip-hop heartthrobs. DJs Boyonce, DJ Booth, Gay-z and FML will be hitting up the decks. Presale tickets are $20 available here.
