The Sydney Vegan Festival

Are you sick of recycling the same old recipe for salads and stir fries? Get inspired at the inaugural Sydney Vegan Festival, which kicks off at the Factory Theatre on March 29. One for all the vegan foodies, the event will feature internationally acclaimed vegan chefs, cooking demonstrations and live music, as well as a plethora of food and market stalls.

Brooklyn vegan chef Isa Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero, co-authors of the best-selling Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook, will present a Q&A session with the audience and a cooking demonstration that is bound to leave you salivating.

Internet-sensation Vegan Black Metal Chef will present his unique show, creating vegan recipes to black metal tunes. And Triple J hip-hop performer and avid supporter of animal rights, Chance Waters, will perform his celebrated tracks.

Maz Valcorza Pugoy of Sadhana Kitchen fame will guide the audience through the wonderful world of raw vegan cuisine. Whilst Addiction Food, Bounty Burgers, Funky Pies, Raw Eats, The Vegan Teahouse will be serving up delicious, vegan culinary delights.
