Right. It’s officially warm. The sun is out, a few guns are out, and staying indoors on the weekend seems nothing short of criminal. So, how are you going to make the most of the warm weather FINALLY kicking into gear? We’ll tell you. It'a the Watsons Bay Cider Festival 2015.
Like you didn’t need another reason to bask in the glorious sunlight at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel… This cider festival will be held on Sunday October 25th and they want YOU front and centre. It went off like a shaken up bottle last year, and you can only expect bigger and better things this time around.
Watsons Bay Cider Festival 2015 is going to be a veritable party of sunshine, apples, and general good times as the sunny street outside Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is lined with over ten cider stalls for you to sample on the day.
Tickets are a casual $25 and will score you a sample from each of the cider stalls, plus a free bottle of your favourite cider from the pop-up bar in the Beach Club. And hey, you deserve a free bevvy after all those months of hiding under your blanket.
When the bubbles hit and your tummy rumbles, there will be an enormous array of food stalls to get you going. We won’t spoil too much, but imagine a gargantuan paella, spit roast pulled pork rolls (OMG) and enough sweet treats to keep your belly happy for days to come.
It’s set to be a beauty of an afternoon, so clear your diary and make a day of it. There will be DJs for the dancers, acoustic tunes for the chillers, apple bobbing for for all ages, as well as a few prizes and freebies on the day.
It kicks off at 11am, so if you want to get in early and then set up camp in the Beach Club after that, you’d be making an excellent decision. There will be a delicious cider and food paired menu on offer, as well as the usual mouth-watering meals.
The Watsons Bay Cider Festival 2015 runs from 11am – 6pm on Sunday, October 25. Tickets are $25, head here to grab yours.
