The World’s Biggest Skinny Dip

By Ellie Schneider - 21 Feb 2014

Looking for a bit of adventure this weekend? Strip off and take the plunge into the glorious waters of Cobblers Beach—butt naked with hundreds of your closest nudie comrades!

Nigel Marsh, co-founder of Earth Hour, established Sydney Skinny in 2013, encouraging participants to cast of their clothes and inhibitions, and take a dip for positive body image.

Held this Sunday, the event is billed as the world's largest nude ocean swim, and is staged at the secluded shores of Middle Head.

There are two distances available, untimed 300 or 900 metre swim in flat water, with flippers and flotation devices permitted.

Sydney Skinny aims to raise funds for conservation work by National Parks and Wildlife and towards building a Harbourside Walkway through Middle Head National Park.

This is a fully ticketed event. No Peeping Toms allowed. To purchase tickets visit sydneyskinny.com.au.
