Frog’s Hollow Saloon
Inside the heritage-listed John Reid & Nephews building on Charlotte Street, you'll find a 12-metre whiskey bar known as Frog’s Hollow Saloon. Though the fit-out here gives off serious country vibes, featuring exposed ceiling rafters, fairy lights and whiskey barrel bar tables, this watering hole is no run down honkey tonk—though the music definitely leans towards country and blues.

Booze
We're not really sure what to label Winn Lane's new tennant. Created by The Zoo crew, Booze is part bottle shop, part coffee spot, part viny and merch store and part takeaway pizza joint—see why we're at a loss? This shop slash cafe (nope, still doesn't cover it) is the place to find Australian natural and organic wines, beers, artisanal spirits, pizza from Zoopreme Pizza, and lots of 'cool shit,' as the team describe it.
Etna Pizza & Vino
Rosmarino was one of our favourite new openings of 2021, so we are mighty excited for the arrival of its sister venue, Etna, which just opened right around the corner in the Stewart & Hemmant building. But while Rosmarino focuses on refined Italian cuisine, Etna is a little more casual and all about the pizza, with plenty of wine to pair with them.
Mr Vain
Coming to us from the team behind Dirty Sultan and Rose Room is Mr Vain, a sultry new restaurant taking over the laneway space where Longtime used to reside in the Valley. Taking over the basement level of the CBD’s heritage-listed St. Francis House, Before + After is the kind of place you’ll only find if you know it’s there. The similarities end there however, as while Opa takes its cue from the stonewashed towns of the Greek Islands, Yamas has a warmer, more rustic palette, featuring terrazzo tables, rust-coloured seating and rose marble benches.

After roaming around town with a pop-up trailer for a while, the dessert slingers have finally opened a bricks and mortar spot in Wellington Point, sending the Bayside’s weekly calorie intake soaring.

Here you’ll find wines from around the world, handpicked for Brisbane’s wine appreciators and available for online purchase, home delivery, curbside pick-up and sipping, and purchase in-store.
