When it comes to the Melbourne food scene and bottomless dining, it really is a jungle out there.
Before you become flustered at the thought of where you and your friends should splash your hard-earned cash, relax, we’ve got you covered.
We think it’s important for Melburnians to know exactly what’s what in the amazing phenomenon that is bottomless dining, so we’ve partnered up with Crown Melbourne to shed some delicious light one of the latest and greatest additions to the smorgasbord at Merrywell Bar and Dining.
Sorry to be Captain Obvious here, but having a solid drinks menu is key when you’re teeing up a bottomless lunch. Let’s be honest, who wants to be drinking cheap and nasty booze for two hours? The answer is no one. So, we’re raising a glass to the fact that Merrywell Bar and Dining are fulfilling our cocktail dreams with the cream of the crop on offer. You can expect La Gioiosa Prosecco, Mimosas, Bellinis and Mirabeau ‘La Comptesse’ French Rosé flowing for two delicious hours. Yes please!
We understand, it’s easy to get caught up in the hype that is, well, bottomless drinks, BUT, we’re here to remind you that the food component of this equation is equally fundamental to the bottomless lunch business. The Merrywell menu has been whipped up by Daniel Wilson, Chef and Owner of the mouth-watering Huxtaburger, so you know it’s going to be good. Progressing from American style burger and pub cuisine, the lunch menu has a share-style approach, perfect for lunching with all your pals. We’re drooling over the char siu pork bao with cucumber, hoisin, peanuts and coriander and the Japanese fried chicken with sesame, yuzu kosho and mayo.
We all know, a lunch with the crew isn’t going to be a success if the venue ain’t poppin’. There is a lot riding on this factor, so we’re glad to say that Merrywell Bar and Dining well and truly ticks this box with a whole heap of fresh, open spaces for you and the squad to kick back and relax with a bevvie. Plus, each weekend you can enjoy sweet tunes from a live DJ set. Tick!
Better yet, with the temperature starting to warm up, it's time to bask in the sunshine and take in the IG-worthy views of the Yarra with a glass of prosecco in hand, or pork bao, or both. Up to you.
