Calling all whisky lovers—Melbourne is being blessed with the event of your dreams this June.
Here’s everything you need to know about The Signet Speakeasy.
Prepare yourself for an immersive experience courtesy of Glenmorangie’s most prestigious whisky. For three days, a secret warehouse will be transformed into a sumptuous speakeasy where decadent whisky, award-winning food, incredible cocktail creations and theatrical experiences will take you on a sensory journey.
Hosted by Glenmorangie’s Head of Maturing Whisky Stock, Brendan McCarron, guests will make their way through a candlelit lobby infused with espresso, followed by a jazz-soaked speakeasy and finishing in the Mandarin Grove where guests can relax with a drink in hand.
Glenmorangie is a household name when it comes to smooth and pure whisky full of depth and complexity. Now meet Glenmorangie Signet: A blend of their oldest whisky and spirit matured in some of the world’s finest casks, this is the richest whisky among the brand’s range.
Unique roasted ‘chocolate’ barley malt and bespoke ‘designer casks’ made from American white oak help to give Glenmorangie Signet it’s characteristic melting sweetness and explosive spice. Having won the Double-Gold medal award at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this is a whisky that needs to be savoured.
Prepare your tastebuds for avant-garde food creations from award-winning Melbourne restaurant Vue Du Monde and delicious cocktails from Lui Bar.
Fine dining meets theatre with a menu inspired by the three flavours of Glenmorangie Signet. Refreshing mandarin, chocolate spices and intense espresso flavours will dance upon your tongue while you snack and sip your way through the warehouse. Make sure you’re ready for a show.
