Melbourne's stage 4 restrictions ease slightly again from Monday 28 September, and we'll start to see Melbourne spaces open up over the following weeks.
Both Melbourne, and the Cranbourne gardens will reopen next week. The Melbourne Gardens from Saturday 26 September, and the Cranbourne Gardens from Monday 28 September.
There will be no tours or events taking place in the gardens just yet.
"You can visit with one other person or members of your household for up to two hours, provided you live within 5km.
To keep visitors and staff safe, capacity in some public areas is restricted and there are currently no tours or events taking place. Narrow garden pathways are now one way so please follow all signage and maintain a safe distance from others during your visit.
During this period, we will continue our standard cleaning service, with supplementary cleaning of high touch areas. We recommend visitors bring their own hand sanitiser and practice good hygiene." states the Royal Botanic Gardens website.
Melbourne gardens open from 7:30am daily, Cranbourne from 9am.
