They’ve been winning the hearts and stomachs of both vegetarians and meat lovers’ alike for the last three years and now they’re finally opening a flagship store. That’s right, we’re talking about the legendary food truck, Wise Boys Burgers.
The innovative and much-loved Wise Boys Burgers is opening a store in Grey Lynn this Wednesday. Situated in the heart of the suburb, they’ll now be able to feed locals every night of the week. They’ve promised a new menu as well as some free extras at their launch event.
Sustainably minded, their plant-based burgers are packed full of delicious nutrients and they’ve been roaming the streets of Auckland keeping locals fueled. Burgers include the Spicy Mex—a spicy kidney bean patty, sweet and chunky homemade salsa, corn chips, lettuce, tomato relish and chipotle, all on a toasted bun. Or, there’s the Kiwi—a beetroot and sunflower seed patty, with lettuce, tomato, red onion, gherkin, mustard, tomato relish all deliciously placed between a toasted bun. We can’t wait to see what goodness they’ve added to their new menu.
