Your First Look At The Nike X Concepts SB Dunk Low “Purple Lobster”

We’ve had a few teasers, and now we’ve finally got a release date and official images of the next Nike x Concepts collab, and it looks fucking excellent.

Celebrating 10 years since the release of their first collaboration (the Nike SB Red Lobster), Concepts are paying homage and adding to the series, releasing the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Purple Lobster”.

In 2008 Concepts and Nike released the famous Red Lobster SB Dunk, praised by sneakerheads they followed up with Blue Lobster one year later. Concepts’ Creative Director, Deon Point said the brand is honouring those OG colourways in the latest release, “mixing the colour palettes of the red and blue versions seemed like an appropriate way to do that [pay homage], without tarnishing the legacy of the original versions.”

Shoe specifics include SB padding around the lining and ankle, the Classic Nike Dunk SB padded tongue and metallic swoosh and speckled upper. These bad boys come with three sets of shoelaces and two sets of Lobster Claw Rubber Bands in a Concepts box.

The Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Purple Lobster” will be released on December 14—respective of time zones—at the Concepts Cambridge, New York, Dubai, and Shanghai stores, and online.
