Fright Fest VR Festival

Steel your nerves, this virtual reality festival is no joke.

Fright Fest VR Festival is packing plenty of spooks into the Halloween season, streaming nightmares directly into your eyeballs with jump scares, ghosts, zombies, blood and guts.

It’s going down at Palace Raine Square Cinemas between 24 October and 2 November; extra scary Halloween and up late sessions will be available for booking too. You can even plonk yourself into the sewers of Derry and cross paths with Pennywise in IT-Floats VR Experience (no thanks).

To make things even more terrifying (or perhaps comforting, depending on your preferences), you’ll be able to hear your fellow movie goer’s screams as you’re strapped into the freak show.

Think you can handle sitting in a pitch-black cave while strapped to a chair or waking up in a basement where something creepy is lurking nearby? Sign yourself up here.
