This just in—Perth's Galaxy Drive-In Cinema in Kingsley is re-opening this Friday to fill that theatre-sized void in your life.

After closing in March when all WA movie theatres were forced to close, Perth's only drive-in cinema has managed to get the green light on opening prior to Phase Three which is when the regular cinemas should be back in business in WA.

Open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with two movies each weekend night, you'll be able to park up, recline your car seat and enjoy iconic flicks like Sonic the Hedgehog and Playing with Fire

As for how you'll hear the movie—it'll be transmitted over your car radio. How neat.

All you need is to turn up on the night and pay your fee—usually $11 per adult and $5.50 for kids, but Tuesday night is bargain night where an entire carload of people will only set you back $22.

For now, here are our top picks for Netflix movies
