If summer wasn’t already looking bloody gorgeous, it will be after reading this.

Hyde Perth Kitchen + Cocktails opens tomorrow, and it’s bringing all of the LA vibes with it.

Located at the stunning new art series hotel, The Adnate, in Perth’s CBD, the new restaurant and bar comes to us directly from the US, where renown hospitality brand Hyde has opened a string of hugely successful, celebrity-adored hot spots. And we’re pretty chuffed they chose Perth for their second Australian location, behind the Gold Coast.

It’s safe to say you’re going to want to spend all summer here thanks to its outdoor pool, DJ decks and laid-back sun loungers, coupled with some banging Mediterranean bites.

What’s caught our attention the most is the bottomless fries menu, which you can of course enjoy poolside. For $12 you can smash as many of their Euro-inspired fries as you can in one hour—think flavours like malt vinegar and sea salt, feta, oregano and confit garlic cream and Moroccan spice with harissa aioli.

It wouldn’t be an LA-style pool party without some killer cocktails, and their menu by none other than Australia’s most awarded bartender Tim Philips is serving up some stunners. You’ll want to stay awhile to enjoy the Swan Song with flavours of bourbon, pavlova and passionfruit, the Pop Pop with Don Julio Blanco, grapefruit and buttered popcorn and the salted coconut margarita slushie.

But if you come with a crew, there’s no doubt about it, you will be ordering the 10 litre Tropicana Punch. This beauty satiates up to eight and is served in a giant pineapple-inspired punch bowl.

After eating all those fries you’ll probably get a hankering for something sweet, and that’s where the roaming candy box will come to your rescue. Loaded with Turkish delight-style treats, you can take your pick.

As for the interiors, picture neutral tones with pops of pastel and plenty of natural greenery. Light, bright and airy, on warm days the bi-fold doors will open to blend the inside and outside seamlessly.

Described as casual by day and classy by night, Hyde Perth will have you sorted from breakfast through to party time, and they’ve scheduled some pretty great specials and weekly events to keep things interesting. From Monday to Thursday you can score $6 drinks from 4pm to 6pm and on weekends from 12pm their Bottomless Brunch provides a two-hour feast of eats and drinks. Then on Saturdays it’s pool party time from 4pm.

We could go on all day about this space, but wouldn’t you prefer to check it out for yourself? Get down to Hyde Perth Kitchen + Cocktails as soon as you can!
